There are two pristine beaches close by. One is located 100 yards fromthe cottage and the other within walking distance (see photo). Wonderful hiking trails are just outside your door.

Ganges is the main village on Salt Spring, located less than 30 minutes by car from Seabright Cottage. In Ganges, you will find numerous gastronomic restaurants, pubs, museums, galleries, wineries, etc.. You can also visit dozens of artist's studios around the island. Every Saturday, rain or shine, mid April to mid October, 8:30 to 3:30 pm, the greatest collection of artists in Canada sell their products at the outdoor market in downtown Ganges.

Kayaks and bikes can rented from Ganges or Fulford harbour (10
minutes drive). Or choose from many other activities
such as hiking, lake swimming, diving, sailing, etc...
