on the Tsawassen to Long Harbour Route but cannot be made on the Swartz Bay to

have a large group of people arriving at the same time, charter service can be
a convenient way to get to Salt Spring.

If guests need to rent a car it is often easiest to rent
the cars in Vancouver and drive over with them as many people land in Vancouver
Airport where there are cars aplenty. Renting a car on island can be
difficult. There is no public transportation and only one taxi service.
