Whichever you choose you will find that having a wedding coordinator takes a lot of pressure off you, your fiancée and your parents. A wedding coordinator can save you time which has become a precious commodity for most of us! For instance, in the preliminary planning I can help find the florist, caterer, musicians, photographer and almost anything else you need. Because I have worked on the island I know the vendors, allowing me to find you the person who best suits your needs, and often even obtain discounts on purchases! Each couple's needs are very individual, because of this
I have found that the most efficient form of billing is hourly. I keep detailed records of how each fraction
of an hour is spent and these records are available to you at any time. I
also include a summary in my billing. Time An average wedding takes a total of 22 hours, this includes 7.5 hours of pre-planning, 3.5 hours of rehearsal and set-up the day before the wedding, 10 hours the day of the wedding and one hour of clean-up the day after the wedding. Some weddings have taken many more hours and some fewer hours.
Kirsty has extensive experience in event planning. She worked in the hospitality business for five years prior to founding Easy Elegance, which provided her with multiple contacts in Vancouver, on Vancouver Island and even in the United States. Kirsty has planned numerous weddings on Salt Spring, working with brides as far away as Boston, Massachusetts. She has unique working relationships with the contractors and artisans on the island, which allow her to tailor the island services to meet your needs! |

The degree of
our involvement in planning your wedding is
decided entirely by you and your fiancée. We can either be involved in all
planning from finding your venue, choosing your colour scheme and running the
wedding to simply being present on the day of the wedding to ensure that
everything goes smoothly. 
Kirsty Oliveira, who owns and runs Easy Elegance, is a
Certified Wedding Specialist. She completed the Wedding Specialist
requirements through Weddings Beautiful.
